Updating a Call Park
Follow this guide to update an existing Call Park.
Updating Call Park
Navigate to Settings:
Click on Call Park then Click on a Call park in the list:
Step 1: Update Call Park
Update the Call Park values using the reference table below:
Field Name | Description/Options | Required Field |
---|---|---|
Name | This is the name of the Call Park you are creating. If you have more than one Call Park, choose a name that can be easily identified. E.g. Accounts Call Park | Yes |
Timeout | Enter the amount of time a call can be parked here before being disconnected.
Setting this value to 0 (ZERO) will disable the timeout and the call will not be disconnected. | Yes |
Click OK to update the Call Park.
Step 2: Update extension number
The extension number assigned to a Call Park needs to be updated from the Numbers menu option. See Edit Routing - Extension number for a detailed guide.
